Youth Xchange 2027 FAQs

What video format should I use for my submission?

Submit your entry as an MOV, MP4, or M4V file. The maximum video file size is 1GB.

Can homeschooled or non-program students participate?

Yes. Students may participate by asking a school advisor or teacher to serve as a sponsor in place of a media class instructor. The sponsor serves as the official school representative for the student’s entry.

Is there a limit on the number of students in a group?

There is no limit on group size. However, only five students from a finalist team will receive complimentary invitations to the awards show.

Can students work individually?

Yes. Students may work individually or as part of a group.

Is there a participation limit for each school or division?

No. There is no limit on the number of students who may participate from a school or division.

Is there an entry fee?

No. Youth Xchange does not charge an entry fee for students to participate in the competition.
