Welcome to the 22nd Annual ʻŌlelo Youth Xchange (YXC) Statewide Student Video Competition—an event that celebrates the creativity, talent, and passion of Hawaiʻi’s young storytellers. This annual competition, awards show, and after party provide a platform for students from elementary to college to express their views on critical community issues through the power of video.
Holomua: Innovating for a Better Future
This year’s theme Holomua: Innovating for a Better Future emphasizes the fusion of tradition and technology, inspiring Hawaiʻi’s youth to harness technical innovations to tackle community challenges and build a sustainable future. It empowers students to be voices for change while celebrating the powerful synergy between cultural wisdom and cutting-edge technology.
