What are the video export format specifications required for submission?

All entries must be submitted in MOV, MP4, or M4V format, with a maximum file size of 1GB.

Can homeschooled or non-program students participate in Youth Xchange?

Yes. Students may still participate by having a school advisor or teacher serve as a sponsor in place of a media class instructor. This sponsor acts as the official school representative for the student’s entry.

Is there a limit on the number of students in a group?

There is no limit on group size. However, only five students from a finalist team will receive complimentary invitations to the awards show.

Can students work individually, or must they be in a group?

Students may work individually or in a group.

Is there a limit on the number of students participating per school or division?

There is no limit on the number of students who may participate from a school or division.

Is there an entry fee for the competition?

No. There are no entry fees to participate.
