Ride the Rail this Wednesday to YXC!

If you are flying in from a neighbor island and plan to use the free rail pass and shuttle transportation on Wednesday, please email youthxchange@olelo.org with the following:

• Airline
• Flight number
• Arrival time in Honolulu
• Number of students and chaperones in your group

Morning Arrival & Airport Meeting Details

8:30 AM – Meet at Lelepaua (Airport) Rail Station

From Terminal 1 (Hawaiian / Interisland):
Exit baggage claim near carousel #9 → crosswalk → parking structure elevator → 4th floor → follow walkway → concourse bridge → station entrance.

From Terminal 2 (Southwest / Domestic / International):
Follow signs to elevator between carousels #18 & #17 → 3rd floor → cross skybridge → follow walkway → concourse bridge → station entrance.

Travel Timeline (Morning)

8:30 – 9:00 AM – Meet at Lelepaua Station

9:00 AM – Distribute HOLO Cards + Station Tour

9:30 AM – Depart via Skyline rail for Hālaulani Station (LCC)
9:50 AM – Arrive at Hālaulani Station
10:00 AM – Bus departs from Hālaulani Station for Okinawa Center

10:30 AM – Arrive at Hawaii Okinawa Center / Registration
11:00 AM – YXC event begins + Lunch

If you miss the airport departure, you may meet the group at Hālaulani Station to catch the bus to the Hawaii Okinawa Center. After the event, buses will return to Hālaulani Station. Participants are welcome to join at any point based on their schedule.

Return Schedule (Afternoon)

2:00 PM – Event concludes
2:00–2:15 PM – Board bus
2:15 PM – Depart for Hālaulani Station
~2:30 PM – Arrive at Hālaulani Station

After the Event

From there, you may return to the airport via rail or continue exploring!

Students may continue exploring the Skyline system:

• Kalauao (Pearlridge) Station
• Kualakaʻi (East Kapolei) Station
