Road Show

Throughout the summer and fall of 2019, ‘Ōlelo has been present at various community events to spread awareness of our mission and services with a fun, interactive road show.

First stop, Welcome Station. Learn how ‘Ōlelo’s services and resources can serve you, enjoy special takeaways, and prize drawings for free training and equipment.

B.Y.O.D. (Bring Your Own Device) Station. Youth Xchange students and interns teach you how to make good video great using smart devices.

Crew Call Photo Station. Take free photos at our photo booth as you learn about the many crew positions that make up a production team.

Soap Box Station. Speak out on the question of the day. Videotape your message and watch as it’s edited on-the-spot, posted online and aired on ‘Ōlelo channels to demonstrate the power of media.

‘Ōlelo will be at Children and Youth Day at the Hawai’i State Capitol on Sunday, October 6.
