Mele A‘e presented by ‘Ōlelo and Summit local radio stations provides a venue for aspiring musical artists* to introduce themselves to audiences in Hawai‘i and beyondto display their talents, and launch their careers.

Recorded in ‘Ōlelo’s new state-of-the-art Studio 1122, Mele grounds us in the tradition of storytelling unique to Hawai‘i. Mele connects us to life across the generations. It embodies the hopes, dreams and aspirations of all who call Hawai‘i home, inspired by Aloha. Mele A‘e  – embracing the music to come. Imagine the possibilities.

Beginning July 2021, Mele A‘e premieres the fourth Sunday of every month at 7:00 PM on ‘Ōlelo channel 53, our ‘Ōlelo Mobile App, our Facebook page, and our YouTube channel.

Island Focus

Meet the people who drive Hawaii’s island community forward on Island Focus.   Island Focus is a monthly half-hour television series produced by ‘Ōlelo Community Media as a community service. The show features exclusive interviews with members of our government, business, education, and community sectors and talk about their passions, what’s new, and what impact they’ve made.

“Focused on the personalities behind the organizations, industries, and agencies that keep Oʻahu moving, that’s Island Focus,” says host Lyla Berg. “We get to highlight the passion and influence of both the people and places that inspire, inform and impact our everyday lives.”

Island Focus premieres on ‘Ōlelo Channel 53, first and third Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm, and Sundays at 4:30pm. You can also find Island Focus on ‘Ōlelo VOD Channel 52, ‘ŌleloNet and YouTube.
