‘Ōlelo's 6th Annual Youth Xchange Video Competition
is right around the corner!
The deadline for the 2009 6th annual Youth Xchange Video Competion is Monday, March 2, 2009.
We loved last year’s theme Speak StrongeakStrong so much that we’ll be keeping it for future Youth Xchange video competitions. It truly reflects the purpose of the competition which is to educate students of all ages about the value and importance of speaking out about their concerns through the creative and powerful medium of video.
Broad categories of competition are: News, Public Service Announcement (PSA), Mini Documentary, Music Video, Short, Animation, Jr. Expert and Expert.
The list is growing for our 2009 sponsored categories of competition so we’ll keep you posted. Category sponsored subjects include:
HI-5 RecyclingThe Rotary Club of Honolulu's Peacemaker category
The Hawai'i State Department of Health & DBEDT's Global Warming category
